When I started in the jewelry industry, I knew very little. I lacked the pedigree of many of my peers, as many of my colleagues came from multi-generational jewelry family businesses. And unlike some others, I hadn't formally studied fashion or art beyond my obsession with Vogue and my collection of moldy magazines from the late 1990s onward. However, I did have one thing: a strong willingness to learn, explore, and ask questions.

This newsletter aims to inform, inspire, and demystify the jewelry industry, which can often seem insular and intimidating.
